The Audience Growth team at Reforge focuses on growing Reforge’s reach by driving traffic and growing our distribution across our blog, email, and social media channels. We work alongside experts in the industry to deliver unique, unmatched thought leadership to help our readers, followers, and members to do the best work of their careers.

The Content Optimization Lead role is an opportunity to extend our content into new categories through a gated content library that uniquely bridges Reforge’s thought leadership with organic demand generation opportunities. We’re looking for someone interested in the end-to-end process from planning, to developing, to experimenting. Beyond the actual writing, this role encompasses everything from the SEO considerations of idea generation, to being comfortable in Canva/Google Slides building the content assets, to building the landing pages with conversion optimization best practices in mind. A passion for testing and creating content for conversion is at the core of the role’s day-to-day.

You'll be joining as part of the foundational team of a profitable proven startup. We bootstrapped to high seven-figure revenue, led by experienced entrepreneurs, and recently we raised a $60M round from Insight Partners. In addition, you will integrate into our community of subject matter experts, including the leaders who helped build companies like Slack, Pinterest, CreditKarma, ClassPass, ipsy, Eventbrite, SurveyMonkey, Thumbtack, and more.

  • Partner with cross-functional groups to develop content campaign ideas with SEO best practices at the core
  • Consistently create resources each month to drive leads and traffic
  • Drive traffic and engagement that converts visitors into email subscribers
  • Continuously test and improve existing campaigns

Skills & experience we are looking for

  • At least three years of proven success in content creation for generating leads and traffic with various types of content (i.e., blogs, short/long form video, ebooks, infographics, guides, webinars)
  • Proven experience setting KPIs and measuring success of content marketing campaigns
  • Understanding of conversion best practices
  • Strong knowledge of content management systems, keyword research tools, and lead generation platforms
  • Ability to work in a collaborate, innovative and fast paced team environment
  • Data-driven and highly analytical
  • Previous experience with Google analytics or other data sources
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to multi-task

Nice to have

  • Experience designing ebooks, whitepapers, or other offers with templates
  • Experience conducting surveys or research for data-driven reports
  • Experience leading SEO-driven content playbooks
  • B2B SaaS marketing experience
