Social Content Manager

We are looking for a passionate Social Content Manager to join the Creator Marketing team – a cross-functional group dedicated to helping artists and their teams thrive through Spotify for Artists. Spotify for Artists started as a focused analytics app for artists, and has since grown into the leading music industry brand with a suite of products, services, and content for artists, songwriters, labels, managers, music marketers, and publishers.

You’ll be responsible for creating, editing, and adapting content for @SpotifyforArtists, @SpotifyCharts, and @Noteable across Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, and, on occasion, YouTube. This is a full-time role that will report to the Social Media Lead for Creator Marketing.

What You'll Do

  • Adapt and create content for social media across social platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn for @SpotifyforArtists, @Noteable, and @SpotifyCharts.
  • Work with the creator content production team to adapt content for every day posts on social, product launches and updates, editorial video content catering to artists and their teams, as well as content for music marketers.
  • Work closely with the Social Marketing Coordinator, Social Marketing Lead, Social Media Designer, and Social Video Editor to bring social concepts to life through video, text, and static images using existing content from the website, blog, and creating and executing concepts from scratch.  
  • Ideate social concepts with the larger content and production team.
  • Manage multiple stakeholders, projects, and timelines on a daily basis.

Who You Are

  • Have a minimum of 6-8+ years of experience.
  • You’re well organized and proactive in your approach to your work.
  • Experience concepting and adapting content of all types (written, video social).
  • Experience copywriting and managing a social content calendar.
  • Experience and deep understanding of social platforms and latest trends both on platform and in the cultural zeitgeist.
  • Experience adapting and creating content for a product to drive awareness, education, and adoption.
  • Ability to post on social media with a deep understanding of how each platform works.
  • Passionate about music with an understanding of the creator landscape and an artist’s needs within that is preferable.

The United States base range for this position is $104,632 - $149,474, plus equity, plus bonus or commission. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays. These ranges may be modified in the future.
