We are a fast-growing SaaS company based in the United States. We are changing the way the world buys enterprise software. We do this by providing intelligent demo automation software that helps you scale Presales. How does this work?

We believe buying enterprise software should be simple, pleasant, and fast instead of complex, painful, and slow (which is how it is today). Buyers now want instant access to presales (sales engineering) resources throughout the buying experience but they find it harder and harder to get what they need. Using Consensus, a sales engineering team builds a library of reusable interactive video demos that Sales sends out on-demand. Consensus automatically personalizes the experience and tracks engagement as the prospect shares the demo with other stakeholders in the buying group, bringing the entire buying group to live demos better educated and ready to talk specifics.

This not only reduces unqualified demos to near zero and can double the presales team’s productivity, it also removes the "demo lag time" for prospects and shortens the sales cycle by as much as 68%.

About the Role

As Head of Marketing you recognize that Marketing’s sole objective is to achieve the company’s revenue and profitability targets by creating qualified opportunities for Sales. You are responsible for developing and leading the execution of a comprehensive and high-performing marketing, branding, and communications strategy to increase the awareness and visibility of Consensus and generate demand while driving growth of the business. You are also responsible for analyst relations and PR to contribute to category creation and ensure that Consensus remains the market leader.

As Head of Marketing you report to the Chief Revenue Officer and as a key leader in the Revenue team, you help ensure that the vision, strategy and plans for the Marketing team aligns with those of the company.


What You’ll Do:

In this role you plan, organize, staff and manage all strategic and tactical marketing functions including:

  • Demand Generation: lead and pipeline production, website/digital programs, campaign development, and events
  • Product Marketing: positioning, messaging, sales collateral, analyst relations
  • Marketing Communications: PR, social media, customer stories, branding, design language
  • Sales Development: inbound and outbound account development and account-based marketing

What We’re Looking For:

  • Have a strong history of repeatedly hitting and exceeding Marketing targets, specifically qualified opportunity generation
  • At least 2-3 years of experience as VP of Marketing (or higher) having led all marketing initiatives
  • Experience growing an enterprise software startup to $50M or higher
  • Successfully helped create and lead a market category and have strong experience with analyst firms such as Forrester and Gartner
  • Deep experience in the sales enablement software space
  • Significant experience with marketing forecasting and managing budgets to goal
  • Deep understanding on building a brand
  • Experience automating lead source and building live lead source ROI
